About us

Coco Catering was set up by head chef Richard Spataro and event manager Blanche Spataro.

Richard learned to cook at his father’s knee, keenly watching while he cooked traditional Italian family dishes. At university, whilst other students were reheating microwave meals and Pot Noodles, Richard created Beef Wellingtons, dauphinoise potatoes and chocolate soufflés, inspired by cookery programmes and a vast collection of recipe books.

Womens Institute member Blanche loves to be the host, and enjoys nothing more than planning menus, baking and creating cocktails. Blanche decided to use her creative and organisation skills for her career and after leaving university started working in the events industry.

Blanche and Richard decided to use their passion for food and events to start Coco Catering. They pride themselves on offering a personal and flexible service and offering quality homemade food and attention to detail on every event.

Blanche and Richard live in the Heeley area of Sheffield and have recently celebrated getting married at Wood Lane Countryside Centre.
